It is not often in this time of failing global economical hardship
that we hear of individuals who are attempting to beat the odds.
Life is a daily struggle on what most would consider a good day
in any country and as far back as any of us can remember,we
were always led to believe that our salaries and education would
always be the determining factor as to the quality of life we
could hope to oneday enjoy.
I am here to tell you that as true as it may sound,it is only part
of the equation. Desire and Ambition are the two ingredients
that turn the odds in our favor. How do I know? I am living
proof.
I have always held a deep desire in my heart every since I was a
small child to accomplish amazing feats by utilizing the talents
that I felt I was blessed with. Of Course,being a young boy I had
no idea what they were at the time,I just felt a strange energy
that always seemed to be stirring inside me and I saw the world
and all it's possibilities in a manner in which others would call
absolute insanity.
As the years passed me by, I discovered my writing abilities and
began singing and envisioning myself as the Actors on the
Movies and Television Shows that I would watch and as songs
were pouring out of the Radio I found myself envisioning my
voice coming through the speakers instead. I would often think
about how life would be different for us if I had the financial
wealth of some well to do Celebrity.All of these things flooded
my mind especially when I saw how hard my parents worked to
provide for the demands of 3 children,but would always have so
little to show for it.I never can get the images out of my mind
even today of sitting down at the dinner table and watching as
my parents would stand around watching my siblings and I as
we ate our dinner and making sure we had enough,they
however,were not eating because we didn't have enough food
for everyone.
I have carried so much of my younger life into my Adulthood and
I have never lost site of the big picture and I thank God that he
gave me true humility and understanding as well as compassion
and most of all,Desire!
I have learned a great deal about who I am over the course of
my life experiences and am not through living by a longshot!
I have become very good friends witha Gentleman by the name
of Gary Tyrone Johnson and together we have done something
incredible!
We have formed several companies that are on the threshhold of
becoming very powerful and prominent front runners in the
world of entertainment.
One in particular that I am very proud of is Strive Records.
Gary and I have Recorded,Produced,Written and Composed my
very first Album and we are gearing up for Worldwide
release.Many major Industry Professionals have shown us
amazing support and we continue to garner the attention of
Music Icons and Award Winning Artist everywhere. Our music
offers inspiration and hope where there seems to be none. The
messages contained in my lyrics will give anyone the courage to
simply keep pushing!
We have now began to see that an amazing opportunity has
been birthed for God to use us to heal the hurting hearts of a
struggling Nation and to bring people together through the
realization that regardless of our ethnical and cultural
differences,we are all of one flesh and one family.
Our Music will be available worldwide via iTunes and many other
e-tailers on August 6,2008.
We want nothing more than to share our messages of hope and
encouragement with the world.
