hello all fellow independent artists..i work with cdbaby artists and was recently solicited on myspace by Hitt Music Group based out of Los Angeles. I'm assuming they are targeting indie artists on myspace and perhaps here on cdbaby. they have a $399 yearly fee and claim to do what all similar indie marketing and promo companies do: submit music for movies/commercials, write bios, submit music to festivals, etc. they sound good..but I am a bit cynical (naturally) about anyone claiming to do anything for musicians (except of course CDBABY!!) specially with a high fee. but i'm ready to hear any point of view on this emerging company. their website is www.hittmusicgroup.com
