Hello all artist,
2 years ago I actually started making money through cdbaby/verizon downloads in v cast. We were making money per month from one of our songs (Hussein the rock song). We were making money because Verizon placed Hussein on number 5 in there rock catagory out of thousands of rock songs, we got very lucky. I just went to verizon v cast and they changed, incorporating with Rhapsody. What a big mistake for indie artist. Verizons great site is gone and so is our number 5 placement. Rhapsody and Verizon's format does not cater to Indie bands at all there browse area to put it simply SUCKS. Just like Itunes, if your not very famous you have to type in the bands name to find them verses stumbling accross a INDIE band in browse. Its a very sad day, Verizon had the best site on the internet for indies and now its gone:/
