Hi. I have two questions regarding CDBaby, iTunes and the Official Charts:
(1) If someone buys one of my songs via one of CDBaby's digital partners (e.g. iTunes), does the sale count towards an official Singles Chart (e.g. "Billboard" in USA, "ARIA" in Australia)?
(2) Let's say one of my songs was bought by someone living in Germany, but I am based in Australia, which country's Singles Chart would the sale count towards?
Any help appreciated! Thanks, Martin

I think CDbaby reports sales to soundscan. Soundscan is the source for Billboard and other known charts so if your sales are reported to them, then you probably would appear somewhere on the charts. Problem is most indies and Cdbaby selling artists don't actually garner enough sales to get anywhere on the charts.
