Cdbaby accidently sent my album to rhapsody instead of iTUNES
posted by Frederick on Sunday May 18 2008 @ 02:54AM PDT
Digital Distribution I selected the usual "50" setting under digital distribution, but
then clicked "restrictions" at the bottom right hand corner of the
screen. Then I could decide EXACTLY where to send it, so I
selected an option that said "Nowhere except Apple iTUNES".
That's what I had said all along, that I wanted iTUNES only.
Once my album had been checked in etc, several days passed
and then I found it had been sent to rhapsody! I emailed cdbaby
and set the distribution level to "0" and THEN went back into
restrictions to make sure it said "nowhere except Apple iTUNES".
The email said "ok, but you have set it to zero so it won't go
anywhere. But the first option on the page says "we won't send it
anywhere unless you specifically tell us to".
I think there must be a problem with "restrictions" setting,
because it has failed to work.
