Derek, Chris or anyone from CD Baby that knows the answer:
I noticed that Rhapsody gives away a 2 week free trial to gain potential customers. If those customers stream a CD Baby artist's music while the customer is in the 2 week free period will the CD Baby artist get paid for their streams?

Actually, I have seen .017 cents per stream on Napster. That .017 cents is my share after CD Baby take their 9%.
My first CD, "Sounds of The G..." just got to Rhapsody so I don't know what their stream rate of pay is yet.

The 2 week free trial is a promotion that encourages people to sign up for Rhapsody and despite that they should pay CD BABY artists when their customers stream our music. It is not like they are loosing money when they pay us " One penny = One stream "
The more people stream your music, the more you know which music sells and which do not.
