| Rhapsody promo with Wendy's |

So I just got back from Wendy's getting dinner (1/20/08)and I noticed my drink cup had a promo for a free music download from Rhapsody. I recognized Rhapsody as a cdbaby partner and followed the steps to find my music(out of curiosity). You have to go to wendys.com and follow the steps (including downloading the Rhapsody software) but sure enough my music was there. When you get done you get one free download and 25 free plays. Now, let it be known: DO NOT PLAY YOUR OWN MUSIC 25 TIMES!!!! As mentioned before on this blog, companies like this don't like it when you do that and may ban you forever. However, it occurs to me that there is great marketing potential here. The promo ends on either 01/28 08 or 01/31/08. I saw both dates and can't be sure. Though one thing is for certain, fans leave a bar with the munchies. You may want to mention the promo if you can do it in a way that does not make you ill being corporate.

There is this same kind of promotion here (in New Zealand) with nestle chocolate bars and free iTunes songs.
I dont usually buy nestle bars but I brought a couple on sale so we proably end up making 5 cents or something, and iTunes cant trace my account back to my band so its all good!

I am looking for a record label. My style of singing ranges from Sinatra,Darin, to Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson and Broadway show tunes.
I would like to perform on cruise ships but need at least a piano player.
I am looking for paying gigs.
