Currently my songs have been webcasting on a web radio
www.neuronradio.net
(member of live365)
I am very happy with that, and I am not asking any rights, but I was wondering if I am supposed to be paid for that.
Thank you

There is a performance rights organization that exists to collect royalties for plays/performances on digital cable and satellite television, internet and satellite radio (such as XM and Sirius).
Check out SoundExchange at http://www.soundexchange.com
Hope that helps!

for royalties paid to the owner of the masters, yes. but (and correct me if i'm wrong) songwriters who retain the publishing rights to their songs are also entitled to royalties from ascap and bmi for internet radio plays (assuming its a station that pays for a broadcast license, like 365.com). of course this is all in theory, they only do sample surveys and the little guys never get paid anyway!

Yeah, the PRO's (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC) only do sample survey's.
One of them, I can't remember which, used to collect play lists
from radio stations. I don't believe they do that anymore.
If your song is only played a couple of times, it's too small for
them to really "notice," especially from smaller radio stations.
If you're played multiple times on a large local radio station that
reaches far more listeners, you're more likely to be paid than
from being played a lesser amount of times on local college
stations.
BUT, note that it's still awesome that your music is getting out
there regardless. Thousands of musicians will never even be
played on the radio!

Unfortunately no, iTunes and our other digital partners have
different privacy policies than we do, so they can't pass that
information along to us.

Big online companies like www.live365.com has to pay royalties to the owner of the music (ARTIST) and songwriter through organizations like BMI and ASCAP.
Songs on my album : Freestyle Bangers
http://cdbaby.com/cd/poppa
was featured on the ESPN SPORTS SHOW..
MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING SHOW http://espnradio.espn.go.com/espnradio/show?showId=mikeandmike
I was besides myself when ESPN contacted me to let me know they were using my music for their show.
I tried to ask them if they could let me know where I could see it, but they told me due to their policies, I have to wait for BMI and ASCAP to send me my royalties themselves.
