| Indie rock bands get exposure through indie film |

Six up and coming indie alternative bands gained free exposure and are now generating world-wide press by work with indie filmmaker Jeff Brookshire on AWAKEN THE DEAD. Jeff Brookshire, who wrote and directed the horror film, actively sought out bands via the internet for his rocking horror film. Each band then was linked to the movie web site and included in much of the worldwide press the movie has generated before its release in July. Brookshire recommends that bands use indie films as a cost free and reward laden alternative route to exposure and discovery.
